This program has been going on ever since 2006 in order to help those in need in Cambodia. Besides, this program also helps villagers to increase their income by selling their farm animals in order to initiate the Qurban and Akikah program. In Cambodia, this program started in small villages called Rtanakkiri, Kandal, Phnom Penh, Kampong Cham and Sihanoukville. Beside Qurban, with helps from UTM, the villagers have been trained to involve in business sector by selling their handicrafts and kuih muih. SALAM also helped in maintaining their mosque in Rtanakkiri by constructing new toilets, tube wells and installing solar panels.
In 2014, SALAM made a collaboration with Palestinian Orphanage Homes (POHA) in order to initiate the Qurban and Akikah program in Gaza, Palestin. This program is initiated in order to help orphanages, single mothers and elderly persons who lost dependency from the war. In 2015, SALAM collaborated with Sabeelul Huda Education Foundation to expand the program in Bangladesh in order to support people in need. Beside that, SALAM also helped in constructing tube wells in order to supply clean water for the villagers.
